At the Eid al-Adha celebration in early September 2017, Rumah Zakat Foundation as part of the Indonesian Humanitarian Alliance for Myanmar (AKIM) coordinated with the Indonesian Embassy for Myanmar, distribute qurban animals and aid to refugee camps in Rakhine State, Myanmar. Sacrificial animals distributed by Rumah Zakat Foundation, in cooperation with local parties in accordance with the culture and needs of the citizens. The qurban animals was distributed at seven points in Rakhine, including in Hla Ma Shay, Raw Ma, Tharagon, Kusam, Karamat Para, Thandawli and Bokhar Para Kamp.
